Chris Gudzowsky

Chris completed his research thesis on methods of knowledge translation on chronic pain app quality as part of his undertaking of Honours at ECU in Perth, Western Australia. He graduated from ECU with an Upper Second Class Honours in occupational therapy in 2024. 
 
Originally from Canada, he moved to Australia in 2015 with hopes of representing Australia at the 2018 Winter Olympics in the sport of Bobsleigh. His 12 year sporting career took him to the highest levels of sport, including representing both Canadian and
Australian National Teams on the world stage in various international competitions. As well as for-running the 2010 Vancouver Olympics in both 2 man and 4 man events for Canada, and representing Australia at the 2017 Korean Olympic Test Event & World Championships in the 4man discipline. 
 
Outside of sport, he previously attended Mount Royal University in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, spending 4 years studying marketing and international business. He left university to work within business and marketing in the wine and spirit industry over the next 5 years, before making the move to Australia. 
 
Outside of work, he spends his leisure time at the beach listening to reggae, goes to the gym, loves to cook Greek and Italian foods, completes a variety of wood smoked meats on his smoker, works in his mechanics garage restoring classic cars, as well as welding and fabrication work. 
 
Chris has a unique passion for performance based training and recovery, which led him to his career in soft tissue; where he hopes to apply his years of experience as a national team athlete.
