Soft Tissue OT

Initial OT Consultation

30 minutes one on one comprehensive assessment including

  • detailed look into musculoskeletal health
  • medical history
  • posture assessment
  • palpation and release
  • exercise prescription/dry needling/stretches if required
  • education

Extended OT treatment

30 minutes ongoing treatment tailored to your individual musculoskeletal and health needs, which can include:
  • Muscle tension release via hands-on techniques
  • Dry needling
  • Taping
  • Education
  • Exercise prescription
  • Stretches prescription

Standard OT Treatment

15 minutes ongoing treatment tailored to your individual musculoskeletal and health needs, which can include:
  • Muscle tension release via hands-on techniques
  • Dry needling
  • Taping
  • Education
  • Exercise prescription
  • Stretches prescription

 

Payment

Payment for services is required on the day of service. 

• Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA)
• Chronic Disease Management (CDM)
• WorkCover WA 
• Veterans Affairs (DVA - Gold Card) clients 

... are bulk-billed if approved, however the client is responsible for any gap payment or if the insurance company denies the claim.

Paediatric OT

Initial paediatric session

A comprehensive in-depth assessment

This can be booked with either a comprehensive report or with verbal feedback.

1 hour

Follow up paediatric intervention sessions

Individualised sessions tailoring intervention to the child’s needs, goals and interests conducted in a supportive and nurturing environment.

45 minutes class

Service Session Times

Body Rebalance

One on one body rebalance and rehabilitation session

One on one strengthening using Pilates and current evidence based techniques, targeting weak and imbalanced muscle groups.

30 minutes

Small group body rebalance class

Maximum of 6 participants, rehabilitation focus addressing clients needs.

45 minute class

Workstation Assessments

Workstation Assessments

20mins one on one on site. 

Assessment includes:

  • Review of workstation
  • Advice and education given
  • Changes to layout
  • Recommendation of equipment
  • Short report of findings
More complex clients that require time will be charged accordingly. 

Travel fee also applied.

General Information

HICAPS

West Coast Occupational Therapy services has HICAPS facilities for your convenience. If you have private health insurance you may be able to claim via the HICAPS terminal by using your health fund card, therefore you will only have to pay the remaining gap. Please note all health funds vary in their rebate amount and whether the HICAPS terminal can be used, check with your health fund for further information.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend your appointment time please provide us with 24 hours notice so we can offer the appointment spot to another client on the wait list. A $30 fee may be charged if notice is not given.
